Every verse links to the people and places named in it, and to the passages readers connect it with.
The chapter
What happens here
Atlas's own reading, written from this chapter and nothing else, and published only once a person has approved it. Each scene names the verses it covers; the names inside it link to the people and places they name.
An entire alliance gathers with one mind, only to announce that its grand ambition is possession of “the pastures of God.”
The alliance against Israelvv. 1–8
Asaph begins by asking God not to be silent while enemies rage and scheme against the people cherished by God. Their plan is stark: erase Israel’s name. The list then sprawls from Edom and Moab to Philistia, Tyre, and Assyria, all gathered in one alliance—an impressive roll-call for a quarrel that ends in pasture-taking.
Old defeats, freshly requestedvv. 9–15
The prayer reaches back to Midian, Sisera, and Jabin at the River Kishon, whose end is recalled at En-dor with a remarkably undignified comparison. Oreb, Zeeb, Zebah, and Zalmunna are summoned as examples for the nobles and princes now under consideration. Then the images become weather and wildfire: tumbleweed, chaff, forest-fire, flame, tempest, and storm.
Shame with an unexpected destinationvv. 16–18
The final request is severe enough: covered faces, shame, terror, and disgrace. Yet the prayer gives that ruin a destination beyond mere disappearance. The enemies are to seek God’s name and know that the LORD alone is Most High over all the earth—a curious final turn for an imprecation, as though even the storm has an appointment to keep.

Ps 83:1A song. A Psalm of Asaph. O God, be not silent; be not speechless; be not still, O God.
Ps 83:2See how Your enemies rage, how Your foes have reared their heads.
Ps 83:3With cunning they scheme against Your people and conspire against those You cherish,
Ps 83:4saying, “Come, let us erase them as a nation; may the name of Israel be remembered no more.”
Ps 83:5For with one mind they plot together; they form an alliance against You—
Ps 83:6the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, of Moab and the Hagrites,
Ps 83:7of Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek, of Philistia with the people of Tyre.
Ps 83:8Even Assyria has joined them, lending strength to the sons of Lot. Selah
Ps 83:9Do to them as You did to Midian, as to Sisera and Jabin at the River Kishon,
Ps 83:10who perished at Endor and became like dung on the ground.
Ps 83:11Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, and all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,
Ps 83:12who said, “Let us possess for ourselves the pastures of God.”
Ps 83:13Make them like tumbleweed, O my God, like chaff before the wind.
Ps 83:14As fire consumes a forest, as a flame sets the mountains ablaze,
Ps 83:15so pursue them with Your tempest, and terrify them with Your storm.
Ps 83:16Cover their faces with shame, that they may seek Your name, O LORD.
Ps 83:17May they be ever ashamed and terrified; may they perish in disgrace.
Ps 83:18May they know that You alone, whose name is the LORD, are Most High over all the earth.

Who else the chapter reaches
Names written in the English are linked in the text above. These are the ones that are not: an entity the Hebrew or Greek names under a spelling the translation does not use, or one reached only by an assertion about a verse of this chapter.
Named in the Hebrew or Greek somewhere in this chapter, under a form the English renders differently — the registry's Ludim against the translation's Ludites — so there is no word in the sentence to hang the link on.
Reached by an assertion Atlas extracted from a verse of this chapter rather than by a name written in it — a pronoun, a title, or a participant the sentence carries without naming. This layer is model-read and measured at 88.6–90.3% precision, and it is kept separate from the names above for that reason.
