What happens here

Atlas's own reading, written from this chapter and nothing else, and published only once a person has approved it. Each scene names the verses it covers; the names inside it link to the people and places they name.

The whole earth is summoned to make a joyful noise, while the psalm leads its singers through gladness, gates, courts, and the sheep of a pasture.

A joyful summonsvv. 1–3

The psalm opens with thanksgiving and a remarkably broad invitation: all the earth is to make a joyful noise. Service is gladness, entrance is song, and the reason is plain—the LORD is God, the maker of His people, who are also the sheep of His pasture.

Gates, courts, and a lasting namevv. 4–5

The song moves indoors—or at least towards gates and courts—with thanksgiving and praise. Its final reason is the LORD’s goodness: loving devotion endures forever, and faithfulness reaches every generation, which is an impressively long shelf life for a psalm’s closing sentence.
