Isaiah 4

Every verse links to the people and places named in it, and to the passages readers connect it with.

What happens here

Atlas's own reading, written from this chapter and nothing else, and published only once a person has approved it. Each scene names the verses it covers; the names inside it link to the people and places they name.

Even all the glory receives a canopy, with shade for the heat and a hiding place from storm and rain.

A name at any costv. 1

In that day, seven women take hold of one man, offering to eat their own bread and provide their own clothes. They ask only to be called by his name and to have their disgrace taken away—a remarkably economical proposal, though not a small request.

The glory under its awningvv. 2–6

The Branch of the LORD and the fruit of the land belong to the beauty and pride of Israel’s survivors. In Zion and Jerusalem, those who remain will be called holy after the Lord washes away filth and bloodstains by judgment and fire; then over Mount Zion and its assemblies come smoke by day, glowing fire by night, and a canopy over all the glory. The arrangement is both magnificent and admirably practical: shade, shelter, refuge, and a hiding place from the weather.

Who else the chapter reaches

Names written in the English are linked in the text above. These are the ones that are not: an entity the Hebrew or Greek names under a spelling the translation does not use, or one reached only by an assertion about a verse of this chapter.

Named in the Hebrew or Greek somewhere in this chapter, under a form the English renders differently — the registry's Ludim against the translation's Ludites — so there is no word in the sentence to hang the link on.
