Every verse links to the people and places named in it, and to the passages readers connect it with.

The chapter

What happens here

Atlas's own reading, written from this chapter and nothing else, and published only once a person has approved it. Each scene names the verses it covers; the names inside it link to the people and places they name.

In the middle of a divine court speech, God pauses to say that if hunger ever struck, nobody would hear about it—and then asks whether bulls and goats are really on the menu.

The summons from Zionvv. 1–6

Asaph’s psalm opens with God summoning the whole earth, from sunrise to sunset. He shines from Zion, arrives with fire and tempest, and calls heaven and earth to witness as He judges the people who made a covenant with Him by sacrifice.

What sacrifice can and cannot dovv. 7–15

God speaks to Israel, but the complaint is not that sacrifices have been neglected. Every animal already belongs to Him: the forest beasts, the cattle on a thousand hills, the mountain birds, and the creatures of the field. The imagined hungry God would not send word to mortals, because the world and all its fullness are His. What He asks instead is thanksgiving, fulfilled vows, and a call upon Him in trouble.

The lips and the lifevv. 16–23

Then the address turns to the wicked, who recite God’s statutes and carry His covenant on their lips while throwing His words behind them. Their alliances, speech, and slander are laid out with uncomfortable precision. God’s former silence has been mistaken for likeness; now comes the face-to-face rebuke, followed by a warning to those who forget Him and a final contrast between thanksgiving and a rightly ordered way.

Who else the chapter reaches

Names written in the English are linked in the text above. These are the ones that are not: an entity the Hebrew or Greek names under a spelling the translation does not use, or one reached only by an assertion about a verse of this chapter.

Reached by an assertion Atlas extracted from a verse of this chapter rather than by a name written in it — a pronoun, a title, or a participant the sentence carries without naming. This layer is model-read and measured at 88.6–90.3% precision, and it is kept separate from the names above for that reason.
