What happens here

Atlas's own reading, written from this chapter and nothing else, and published only once a person has approved it. Each scene names the verses it covers; the names inside it link to the people and places they name.

David moves from brittle bones and a heavy hand to a bit and bridle in the space of a few verses.

The confession that opens the hiding placevv. 1–7

David begins with two blessings: forgiveness, and a spirit without deceit. Silence, however, has done him no favours; his bones become brittle, his strength drains away, and the LORD’s hand lies heavily upon him. Then the locked cupboard is opened: David acknowledges his sin, hides nothing, and finds the guilt forgiven. The psalm urges the godly to pray while the LORD may be found, though it supplies neither timetable nor explanation for that curious limit. David’s hiding place is the LORD, who surrounds him with songs of deliverance.

Counsel, then the bridlevv. 8–11

The voice now promises instruction, counsel, and watchfulness. Almost immediately, the instructed person is warned not to resemble a horse or mule, creatures whose understanding is apparently so limited that a bit and bridle must do the persuading. The psalm ends by setting the sorrows of the wicked beside the loving devotion surrounding the one who trusts in the LORD, then breaks into a summons to gladness and shouts of joy.

Who else the chapter reaches

Names written in the English are linked in the text above. These are the ones that are not: an entity the Hebrew or Greek names under a spelling the translation does not use, or one reached only by an assertion about a verse of this chapter.

Reached by an assertion Atlas extracted from a verse of this chapter rather than by a name written in it — a pronoun, a title, or a participant the sentence carries without naming. This layer is model-read and measured at 88.6–90.3% precision, and it is kept separate from the names above for that reason.
