Every verse links to the people and places named in it, and to the passages readers connect it with.
The chapter
What happens here
Atlas's own reading, written from this chapter and nothing else, and published only once a person has approved it. Each scene names the verses it covers; the names inside it link to the people and places they name.
A father's spit becomes the measure of Miriam's disgrace: seven days outside the camp, while the people wait for her before moving on.
A quarrel heard in heavenvv. 1–3
Miriam and Aaron criticize Moses over the Cushite woman he married, and then press the larger question: whether the LORD speaks only through Moses. The LORD hears them. The text pauses over Moses himself, calling him extraordinarily humble in a sentence of almost comic grandeur.
The cloud at the Tentvv. 4–9
The LORD summons Moses, Aaron, and Miriam to the Tent of Meeting. A pillar of cloud stands at the entrance, and Aaron and Miriam are called forward for a distinction drawn with remarkable plainness: prophets receive visions and dreams, but Moses is addressed face to face, clearly and not in riddles. The warning ends with the LORD's anger burning against them, followed by His departure.
Seven days outsidevv. 10–16
When the cloud lifts, Miriam is suddenly leprous, white as snow. Aaron turns to Moses with an appeal so graphic that the plea seems to stumble over its own image: a stillborn infant, flesh half consumed. Moses cries out for her healing, but the LORD answers with the startlingly ordinary comparison of a father spitting in his daughter's face. Miriam is confined outside the camp for seven days; the people do not move until she returns, and only then do they leave Hazeroth and camp in the Wilderness of Paran.

Num 12:1Then Miriam and Aaron criticized Moses because of the Cushite woman he had married, for he had taken a Cushite wife.
Num 12:2“Does the LORD speak only through Moses?” they said. “Does He not also speak through us?” And the LORD heard this.
Num 12:3Now Moses was a very humble man, more so than any man on the face of the earth.
Num 12:4And suddenly the LORD said to Moses, Aaron, and Miriam, “You three, come out to the Tent of Meeting.” So the three went out,
Num 12:5and the LORD came down in a pillar of cloud, stood at the entrance to the Tent, and summoned Aaron and Miriam. When both of them had stepped forward,
Num 12:6He said, “Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, will reveal Myself to him in a vision; I will speak to him in a dream.
Num 12:7But this is not so with My servant Moses; he is faithful in all My house.
Num 12:8I speak with him face to face, clearly and not in riddles; he sees the form of the LORD. Why then were you unafraid to speak against My servant Moses?”
Num 12:9So the anger of the LORD burned against them, and He departed.
Num 12:10As the cloud lifted from above the Tent, suddenly Miriam became leprous, white as snow. Aaron turned toward her, saw that she was leprous,
Num 12:11and said to Moses, “My lord, please do not hold against us this sin we have so foolishly committed.
Num 12:12Please do not let her be like a stillborn infant whose flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother’s womb.”
Num 12:13So Moses cried out to the LORD, “O God, please heal her!”
Num 12:14But the LORD answered Moses, “If her father had but spit in her face, would she not have been in disgrace for seven days? Let her be confined outside the camp for seven days; after that she may be brought back in.”
Num 12:15So Miriam was confined outside the camp for seven days, and the people did not move on until she was brought in again.
Num 12:16After that, the people set out from Hazeroth and camped in the Wilderness of Paran.

Who else the chapter reaches
Names written in the English are linked in the text above. These are the ones that are not: an entity the Hebrew or Greek names under a spelling the translation does not use, or one reached only by an assertion about a verse of this chapter.
Named in the Hebrew or Greek somewhere in this chapter, under a form the English renders differently — the registry's Ludim against the translation's Ludites — so there is no word in the sentence to hang the link on.
Reached by an assertion Atlas extracted from a verse of this chapter rather than by a name written in it — a pronoun, a title, or a participant the sentence carries without naming. This layer is model-read and measured at 88.6–90.3% precision, and it is kept separate from the names above for that reason.
