Genesis 23
Every verse links to the people and places named in it, and to the passages readers connect it with.

What happens here
Atlas's own reading, written from this chapter and nothing else, and published only once a person has approved it. Each scene names the verses it covers; the names inside it link to the people and places they name.
Ephron offers Abraham the field and cave as a gift, then names a price of four hundred shekels—and Abraham pays it.
Sarah dies in Canaanvv. 1–2
Sarah reaches 127 years, then dies in Kiriath-arba, that is, Hebron, in Canaan. Abraham goes out to mourn and weep for her; the chapter gives the grief its full space before turning to the business of burial.
A gift with a pricevv. 3–20
Abraham rises from beside Sarah and asks the Hittites for a burial site. Ephron first offers the field and cave, then calls the land worth four hundred shekels; Abraham pays the named sum in the hearing of the Hittites, and the field, cave, and trees are deeded to him. At last Sarah is buried in the cave at Machpelah near Mamre, in Hebron, in Canaan—a remarkably formal conclusion to a matter that began with mourning.

Gen 23:2She died in Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron) in the land of Canaan, and Abraham went out to mourn and to weep for her.
Gen 23:3Then Abraham got up from beside his dead wife and said to the Hittites,
Gen 23:4“I am a foreigner and an outsider among you. Give me a burial site among you so that I can bury my dead.”
Gen 23:6“Listen to us, sir. You are God’s chosen one among us. Bury your dead in the finest of our tombs. None of us will withhold his tomb for burying your dead.”
Gen 23:7Then Abraham rose and bowed down before the people of the land, the Hittites.
Gen 23:8“If you are willing for me to bury my dead,” he said to them, “listen to me, and approach Ephron son of Zohar on my behalf
Gen 23:9to sell me the cave of Machpelah that belongs to him; it is at the end of his field. Let him sell it to me in your presence for full price, so that I may have a burial site.”
Gen 23:10Now Ephron was sitting among the sons of Heth. So in the presence of all the Hittites who had come to the gate of his city, Ephron the Hittite answered Abraham,
Gen 23:11“No, my lord. Listen to me. I give you the field, and I give you the cave that is in it. I give it to you in the presence of my people. Bury your dead.”
Gen 23:12Again Abraham bowed down before the people of the land
Gen 23:13and said to Ephron in their presence, “If you will please listen to me, I will pay you the price of the field. Accept it from me, so that I may bury my dead there.”
Gen 23:15“Listen to me, my lord. The land is worth four hundred shekels of silver, but what is that between you and me? Bury your dead.”
Gen 23:16Abraham agreed to Ephron’s terms and weighed out for him the price he had named in the hearing of the Hittites: four hundred shekels of silver, according to the standard of the merchants.
Gen 23:17So Ephron’s field at Machpelah near Mamre, the cave that was in it, and all the trees within the boundaries of the field were deeded over
Gen 23:18to Abraham’s possession in the presence of all the Hittites who had come to the gate of his city.
Gen 23:19After this, Abraham buried his wife Sarah in the cave of the field at Machpelah near Mamre (that is, Hebron) in the land of Canaan.
Gen 23:20So the field and its cave were deeded by the Hittites to Abraham as a burial site.

Who else the chapter reaches
Names written in the English are linked in the text above. These are the ones that are not: an entity the Hebrew or Greek names under a spelling the translation does not use, or one reached only by an assertion about a verse of this chapter.
Named in the Hebrew or Greek somewhere in this chapter, under a form the English renders differently — the registry's Ludim against the translation's Ludites — so there is no word in the sentence to hang the link on.
Reached by an assertion Atlas extracted from a verse of this chapter rather than by a name written in it — a pronoun, a title, or a participant the sentence carries without naming. This layer is model-read and measured at 88.6–90.3% precision, and it is kept separate from the names above for that reason.
