Atlas's own reading, written from this chapter and nothing else, and published only once a person has approved it. Each scene names the verses it covers; the names inside it link to the people and places they name.
Peter’s vision arrives with the unmistakable air of heaven having ordered lunch: a sheet full of creatures, a command to eat, and the whole extraordinary delivery hauled back upstairs three times.
The sheet from heavenvv. 1–18
News had reached Jerusalem that Gentiles had received the word of God, and the circumcised believers challenged Peter over his table manners. Peter answered by telling the whole sequence: while praying in Joppa, he saw a sheet lowered from heaven, stocked with four-footed animals, wild beasts, reptiles, and birds. A voice told him to eat; Peter objected; the voice corrected him; and the spectacle was repeated three times before being drawn back into heaven.\n\nAt that precise moment, three men from Caesarea arrived. The Spirit told Peter to go with them without hesitation, and six brothers accompanied him into the man’s house. As Peter began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon the household just as it had upon the believers at the beginning. Peter remembered the word about John’s water baptism and the coming baptism with the Holy Spirit, then asked who he was to hinder God’s work. The objections vanished at once, and the believers glorified God for granting repentance unto life even to the Gentiles.
Antioch and the great collectionvv. 19–30
Meanwhile, those scattered by the persecution that began with Stephen travelled through Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, at first speaking only to Jews. Then men from Cyprus and Cyrene began speaking to Greeks in Antioch as well, and a great number believed and turned to the Lord. Jerusalem sent Barnabas, who arrived, saw the grace of God, rejoiced, and encouraged them. He then fetched Saul from Tarsus, and the two taught the church in Antioch for a full year. There, rather neatly, the disciples were first called Christians.\n\nProphets later came down from Jerusalem, and Agabus predicted through the Spirit a famine across the whole world. The response is wonderfully local in its particulars: the disciples each gave according to ability, sending relief to the brothers in Judea by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.

Acts 11:1The apostles and brothers throughout Judea soon heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God.
Acts 11:2So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcised believers took issue with him
Acts 11:3and said, “You visited uncircumcised men and ate with them.”
Acts 11:4But Peter began and explained to them the whole sequence of events:
Acts 11:5“I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision of something like a large sheet being let down from heaven by its four corners, and it came right down to me.
Acts 11:6I looked at it closely and saw four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, reptiles, and birds of the air.
Acts 11:7Then I heard a voice saying to me, ‘Get up, Peter, kill and eat.’
Acts 11:8‘No, Lord,’ I said, ‘for nothing impure or unclean has ever entered my mouth.’
Acts 11:9But the voice spoke from heaven a second time, ‘Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.’
Acts 11:10This happened three times, and everything was drawn back up into heaven.
Acts 11:11Just then three men sent to me from Caesarea stopped at the house where I was staying.
Acts 11:12The Spirit told me to accompany them without hesitation. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man’s home.
Acts 11:13He told us how he had seen an angel standing in his house and saying, ‘Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter.
Acts 11:14He will convey to you a message by which you and all your household will be saved.’
Acts 11:15As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, just as He had fallen upon us at the beginning.
Acts 11:16Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how He said, ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’
Acts 11:17So if God gave them the same gift He gave us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to hinder the work of God?”
Acts 11:18When they heard this, they had no further objections, and they glorified God, saying, “So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life.”
Acts 11:19Meanwhile those scattered by the persecution that began with Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the message only to Jews.
Acts 11:20But some of them, men from Cyprus and Cyrene, went to Antioch and began speaking to the Greeks as well, proclaiming the good news about the Lord Jesus.
Acts 11:21The hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number of people believed and turned to the Lord.
Acts 11:22When news of this reached the ears of the church in Jerusalem, they sent Barnabas to Antioch.
Acts 11:23When he arrived and saw the grace of God, he rejoiced and encouraged them all to abide in the Lord with all their hearts.
Acts 11:24Barnabas was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a great number of people were brought to the Lord.
Acts 11:25Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul,
Acts 11:26and when he found him, he brought him back to Antioch. So for a full year they met together with the church and taught large numbers of people. The disciples were first called Christians at Antioch.
Acts 11:27In those days some prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch.
Acts 11:28One of them named Agabus stood up and predicted through the Spirit that a great famine would sweep across the whole world. (This happened under Claudius.)
Acts 11:29So the disciples, each according to his ability, decided to send relief to the brothers living in Judea.
Acts 11:30This they did, sending their gifts to the elders with Barnabas and Saul.

Who else the chapter reaches
Names written in the English are linked in the text above. These are the ones that are not: an entity the Hebrew or Greek names under a spelling the translation does not use, or one reached only by an assertion about a verse of this chapter.
Named in the Hebrew or Greek somewhere in this chapter, under a form the English renders differently — the registry's Ludim against the translation's Ludites — so there is no word in the sentence to hang the link on.
Reached by an assertion Atlas extracted from a verse of this chapter rather than by a name written in it — a pronoun, a title, or a participant the sentence carries without naming. This layer is model-read and measured at 88.6–90.3% precision, and it is kept separate from the names above for that reason.
